Shipping policy
The Hair Scientist ships human hair bundles from California to addresses in the United States.
Processing time
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before they ship. You will receive a tracking number by email when the order ships. Checkout delivery dates are carrier transit estimates after shipment; add processing time to the range you see at checkout.
Domestic rates (contiguous United States)
- Standard — $8, typically 3–5 business days after shipment
- Free Standard — automatically applied on orders of $195 or more after discounts
- Express — $15, typically 1–2 business days after shipment when offered at checkout
A single 24-inch Natural bundle at $179 ships Standard for $8. Adding another bundle, or ordering any 26-inch or longer Natural or any Blonde SKU, reaches the $195 free-shipping threshold before discounts. Promo codes can bring a cart back below $195; Standard is then $8.
Where we ship
We currently ship within the United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories may take longer and may not qualify for the quoted transit times. We do not offer international checkout yet.
Tracking and delivery
Carriers require a deliverable street address.
If your order is delayed or missing, including a package marked delivered that you have not received, please contact us with your order number and tracking number. We will review the tracking information and investigate with the carrier when needed. Replacements or refunds for missing packages, including packages the carrier confirms were lost before delivery, are considered case by case after review.
